- Our Rigid Axle Eaton style limited-slip positraction unit uses Raybestos composite clutches for smooth and aggressive traction. The carrier case is forged steel for strength and reliability. Because this carrier is an eaton style clutch posi, it can be rebuilt and serviced. Our Rigid Axle positraction is the perfect choice for daily drivers, weekend warriors, towing, basic off-road use, and street/strip applications. - *Note: The GM 8.875" 12 Bolt Car differential has carrier breaks at 2.73 / 3.07-3.90 / 4.10. That means if you have 3.42 gears from the factory, and would like to run a 4.56 ratio, you will need to buy a thick gear, or a new carrier. Contact support if you need help figuring out what carrier you have.

- If you added horsepower, or you just want better stock performance out of your GM 8.875" 12 Bolt Car Differential, our gear set will get the job done. If you need help deciding on a gear ratio, please give us a call and we can help based on your needs!

- Rigid Axle's aftermarket ring and pinion gear sets are made from heat treated 8620 steel. Our aftermarket gear set is made using a five-cut, face milled manufacturing process. Once set up correctly, this will give a square contact pattern on the drive and coast side of each tooth. We are proud of our ring and pinion lines, and you will be too!

- Our Master overhaul kits come with everything you need to replace, modify, or rebuild your differential. This will allow you to get the job done quicker, and cheaper at the end of the day. Rigid Axle master bearing install kits include:
